Show Her Beauty, Before The Damage Is Done

I’ve had this album since it was released in August, but it has been overshadowed, overlooked, and generally neglected by me. For no real reason at all, I just never got around to it. The same actually goes for the band as a whole. Their two previous albums Funeral, and Neon Bible are incredibly praised and critically acclaimed by pretty much everyone with a voice worth listening too; yet I never really jumped to give them a listen. Maybe it’s some subtle subconscious effort to reject the camaraderie of pretentious music listeners, or maybe it’s just pure stupidity. Needless to say, Arcade Fire makes some pretty special music, while addressing some really engaging themes. So if you aren’t part of the group I just insulted, and haven’t heard this already; have fun.
